ABOUT
I am a movement director, choreographer and facilitator, working across multiple disciplines. I have created work in theatre, community performance, performance art, street theatre and dance theatre as well as music videos and dance on screen. I originally trained at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama as an actor, before completing an MA in Dance Theatre at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
I am passionate about working with actors and performers, whether on a piece of dance or movement based theatre, creating an ensemble or exploring the physical world of the play or film,
I work hard to create a collaborative, open and supportive rehearsal process. I enjoy working with people all levels and capabilities and endeavour to design a movement language that supports both the production and the needs of each individual performer. I have a strong understanding of an actor's process and how movement can best work as part of that.
I am also a visiting lecturer at RWCMD and a facilitator at Shakespeare's Globe, specialising in Elizabethan jigs and dance within Shakespeare's plays.
